\nI went to the hot spring near by today.
\nIt always surprises me that Tokyo has so many hot springs even in the center of the city. Because I’m from Osaka, I tend to think that hot springs are somewhere out side of the city, near the mountains or oceans.
\nThe hot spring I went to today is just 15 minutes away from my place. It looked recently built, and you can enjoy different kinds of baths. They have outdoor spa, of course! I liked the carbonated bath, which I’ve never experienced in my life. When you sit in the water, your body is covered with bubbles. It was kind of a funny feeling.
\nYou can also try some aroma massage, or aromatherapy I should say… Oh, I almost forget that I went into the bedrock bath spa. It’s like a sauna, but the temperature is lower, around 40-42 degrees (\u2103). You stay in the room for 25 minutes, lying on the bedrock floor. You’ll find yourself sweating like a pig!
\nFoot massage and other kinds of massage are offered so you will not be bored. There’s a very nice Japanese restaurant where you can have Sake, Shochu, beer, tofu, soba noodles, ramen noodles, and fried pork. I had fried oyster plate, which was fantastic.
\nI spent almost 7 hours there. Next time, I’m going to try aromatherapy and stone massage \ud83d\ude42
